The drive to our resort is along river Sindh and the route further passes through Kangan & Gund of Sindh Valley with spectacular views of Harmukh range dominating the horizon along with open grassy meadow land & village dotted slopes.
A foot bridge leads to the resort from the main road which has both side majestic view of river Sindh that meanders along with grace.The resort has at its back drop snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.
In May & June itself visitors can have access to snow near the resort which is furnished at places like a white carpet along with the forest trails of fir & birch on the picturesque mountains.
During summer the mountains are enveloped with flowers that look golden when the sun shines bright on them .It is due to this reason that Sonamarg is also called as meadow of gold.
The resort is a perfect destination for nature lovers where all the elements of nature i.e. river,snow,forest and hills exist together. Its situation marks an importance during yatra time since it is very near to the Neelgrath Helipad which provides chopper services for darshan.
It lies in close proximity to Baltal , a little valley that lies at the foot of Zojila and is only a day's journey away from the sacred cave of Amarnath.
